I want to thank you for being able to brouse your site. I found it by accident while doing some e-research for an article I am writing about Caucasian Ethnocentrism.

I did not find your site to be "racist" nor full of hate. I did find it informative and a great site to visit in the future.

I am a white male, a homosexual male, a professional male working on my PsyD (Doctorate in Psychology) at University of San Francisco. I have an Asian partner and am an active member of his family as he is mine; therefore I see two spectrums of two very different race/cultures.

I am a thiry-two year multi-raced woman. I found your page quite interesting. Personally, I agree with the focal point of what you're suggesting. There is nothing wrong with having pride in your hertiage. I know I do. But, there is a fine line of having pride and biogtry.

I recently browsed through your website and thought I might send along a few general comments.

Admittedly, I did not spend untold hours carefully reading every word on every page of the site. Time is of the essence for me, so I read a few articles, checked out a handful of letters to the editor, and came away with what I think is a pretty accurate overall feel for your beliefs.

In a nutshell, the "Center for the Study of Whiteness" is, predictabley, more of the same old caucasian guilt manure-heap that has been rammed down my pale throat for twenty-nine years now. The funny thing is, I still don't feel one iota of guilt. I must be evil incarnate.

I'd like to ask you a few questions.
1. You use the term "people of color" on your website a lot. Is that anything like "colored people"?
2. Do you support financial reparations for American slavery?
3. Isn't it true that the vast majority of white Americans at the time of slavery, the Civil War, etc. were not slave owners?
4. Assuming question #3 to be true, isn't it rather silly to expect white people today to feel guilty, or indebted to blacks, because of events that took place over a century and a half ago?
5. Did Colin Fergusen ( the black man who slaughtered a shitload of people on the Long Island Rail Road in the mid-90's [ most of them white ], because he wanted to get back at the 'evil white man' ) commit a hate crime?
6. Is it racism when Louis Farrakhan refers to people who have a similar, pinkish skin tone to mine as " Blue-Eyed Devils "?
7. Isn't just a little boring -- not to mention a tad racist -- when black comedians rehash the same old lame jokes about the bad dancing practices of whites?
8. If race, and more specifically, " white skin priviledge ", plays such an important factor in our criminal justice system, would somebody please explain to me why OJ Simpson is still walking around? Is he still " looking for the real killers"?
9. Various black leaders have complained about the lack of " faces of color " on television. Is it any consolation when they see McDonald's using black holidays, actors, and voice-over artists to hock thier wretched food on them? Do these same black leaders enjoy the crappy programming to be found on the WB Network, known as the most diverse network on television?
10. I am a weird mix of Scots-Irish, Russian-Jewish, Chippewa Indian, and German. I look white as hell. Should I feel guilty about anything, and if so, to whom? Should the German part of me be extra careful around the Jewish part when telling ethnic jokes?
11. Last question. In the name of "diversity", or "multiculturalism", or whatever it's called these days, is society willing to give up lofty ideals such as quality, integrity, honesty, and individual freedom and personal responsibilty?

In closing, I guess all I'd like to say is that I think it's awful that we even seem to need websites like this. All we as a people can do is deal with the present day. Sure, racism is out there to be found, even in institutional forms in some rare cases. But in modern America, nothing matters like money. If you have a lot of it, you can pretty much do whatever you want. If you don't have much of it, well just watch your step. Nobody can change what has happened in the past, and if you look my way for some kind of contrition, or an expression of guilt, well you better bring a magnifying glass, johnny, because there's no guilt here.

Okay, one last question. Since black leaders have, in the past, asked white America to acknowledge and apologize for slavery, would it be fair to expect those same black leaders to acknowledge and show gratitude to the descendents of the many thousands of white Union soldiers who fought in the Civil War?

I just happened to trip over your web site and was reading a few of the quotes on "white identity" I took special note on the one that said whites "take their whiteness for granted". Maybe we just think we're Americans First and that "hyphenated Americanism" will Balkanize this country and ultimately destroy it. We need to treat, act and love one another as fellow countrymen and women, not get wrapped up in our individual "ethnic" pride. That only highlights our differences. We are Americans.

Gee, how nice. This is really not a racist, white organization after all. Not like those nasty sites that other ethnic groups have on the web (those don't feel the need to be multiracial). I find it rather humorous that you need to justify having this web site by making it multiracial. What's so wrong about being White? I am proud of my White, European background. I'm going to marry a White woman so I can have White children, and they too, can be proud of being White.

I think the pseudointellectualism of racial politics and modern university anthropology has finally reached the lowest ebb possible. I think your Marxist agitprop designed to harm the faculties of reason amongst young white Americans will ultimately fail. I also believe that if the hatred for "whitey" is so great that organizations such as yours exist, then certainly your sense of moral superiority should lend itself to ACTION rather than DISCUSSION. Show your hatred for the white man by refusing to do the following:

1. Take any form of modern transportaion. Do not ride a bike, drive a car, take a train, sail in a boat or take a flight.

2. Turn off the TV. Do not listen to the radio.
Do not read anything that is typeset.

3. Do not drink any water form a public system.
Cease to use toilets immediately.

Must I continue? You have all adopted the usage of white culture. Do not attack what you readily consume, especially under the warped veil of "discussion".

Question: what happens when you kill the goose that lays the golden egg? Has Robert Mugabe been asking that question?

I saw your web site euroamerican.org and was saddened to find it had nothing to do with reaching back to our European roots and culture but rather constantly insinuating that all European Americans are "racist". Which is just a stereotype that we face, that if we are not ashamed of our Ethnicity then we are suddenly "racist". And your web site is only enforcing this stereotype.

What is your hidden and real agenda? I'm a graduate student at the UW-Madison in the department of curriculum and instruction. I am searching for names of exemplary teachers (K - 12) who have an understanding of white privilege and who incorporate that understanding into classroom content. Can anyone nominate a name of a classroom teacher who is working in the Midwest who would fit these qualifications?

Hmmmmm is the point here to get along with each other regardless of race ? If so, why are we still segregating ourselves by referring to humans as colours ? Why can't this be called an American multicultural website ? Hell we're Americans PERIOD. No explanation, no colour titles, no attitude. Proud to be American, regardless of origin, colour, personality. It's going to take us a while to evolve that thought hey ?!!
